Job summary

Merus is seeking a Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations on complex construction projects. You will oversee site safety, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and workforce management to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget.

You will work closely with Project Managers, design teams, subcontractors, and owners to resolve field challenges, maintain schedules, and drive successful execution from mobilization through completion.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
Experience managing industrial projects ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 sq ft preferred.
Strong leadership, scheduling, quality control, and safety knowledge.
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and document progress.
Proficiency with MS Office; scheduling software experience required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule subcontractor activities including four-week look-ahead plans.
Lead daily field operations to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.
Develop and manage project schedules to hit milestones.
Coordinate sequencing and field activities for productivity.
Document daily progress and field issues; review budgets and scopes.
Enforce safety policies and manage field labor efficiently.
Communicate project status and issues to leadership and owners.
Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and drive schedule recovery if needed.
Utilize scheduling software to support planning and execution.
