Job summary

IMC Construction seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality from start to finish.

You will coordinate trades, manage crews, review drawings and specs, and maintain daily field reporting while mentoring field staff. Strong background in construction sequencing, site logistics, and QA/QC is essential for success on our projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction or equivalent field operations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage field teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience managing site logistics, quality control, and field execution.
• Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Primavera/P6, Microsoft Office, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Operations: Oversee day-to-day jobsite activities and supervision of field staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Drive the Schedule: Develop and manage project schedules, including Three Week Look Ahead plans.
• Coordinate Trades & Execution: Manage sequencing of work and coordinate with trades to meet timelines.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Enforce QA/QC processes and ensure work meets contract requirements.
• Reinforce Safety Standards: Uphold Safety First culture and ensure safe work environments.
• Manage Site Logistics: Plan and maintain site logistics and temporary facilities.
• Oversee Inspections & Compliance: Coordinate inspections and testing with third-party agencies.
• Track & Document Field Activity: Maintain daily reports and as-built records.
• Lead & Develop Field Teams: Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff.
