Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II in the San Francisco area to install and support wireless communications systems, including DAS, BDA, and CCTV. You will diagnose, repair, and program RF equipment while delivering top-tier customer service.

The role requires 5+ years in field service, a strong electronics background, and the ability to read schematics and use RF test equipment. A valid driver's license and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment in wireless/2-way radio fields.
• Deep understanding of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems, DAS, CCTV).
• Create programming codeplugs and configure equipment.
• Travel regionally and possibly overnight; provide excellent customer service.
