Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communications systems across customer sites. You will handle on-site diagnostics, repairs, programming, and installation of RF equipment, DAS/BDA systems, and related hardware across multiple frequency bands.

The role requires strong electronics background, two-way radio theory knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• Proficient Electronics Background.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing RF equipment.
• Understands two-way radio theory and RF propagation characteristics at various frequency bands.
• Competent using test equipment: communications service monitors, wattmeters, TDRs, FDRs, multimeters.
• IP networking experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• CET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment including UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems, dispatch consoles, DAS/BDA systems and CCTV.
• Create mid-level programming codeplugs (12+ channels, trunking, multiple zones)
• Provide exceptional customer service and on-site technical support.
