Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform field service activities at customer sites in California, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, and manage parts inventories while interfacing with customers.

The role requires travel (20–80%), strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset to uphold Xylem's service standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Capable of obtaining CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements.
• 2–5 years of technical field experience or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure proper documentation at customer sites.
• Interact with customers professionally and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team and operate with minimal supervision.
