Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to initiate and perform field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves working with complex mechanical and electrical systems, requiring proactive maintenance and careful parts inventory management.

We welcome candidates with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, diesel, or mechanical backgrounds who are eager to learn. Training will be provided, and the team offers opportunities for growth within a global water

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record.
• Water treatment and plumbing/HVAC experience preferred.
• 1–7 years of technical work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot advanced systems and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams; lead/coach junior techs as needed.
• Maintain safe working environment and represent the company professionally.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and smart devices to document work and communicate findings.
