Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician III to join our Energy Systems team in Carrollton, TX. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of complex battery and power systems on-site, with travel as required.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while leading small projects. A technical degree and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering or electronics.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician in battery/power systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues using advanced tools and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and reliability improvements.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians and coordinate small field service projects.
• Document service activities and prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
