Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician IV to join the Energy Systems team. You will provide advanced on-site support for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex battery equipment and power systems, while mentoring junior technicians.

You’ll lead projects, train colleagues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. A strong customer focus and travel readiness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, electronics technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven Field Service Technician experience in battery/power systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades to maximize uptime.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and share expertise.
• Lead small to medium field service projects and coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Document service activities and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
