Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support Dayton, Ohio area clients. You will advance Level I tasks, lead installation teams, and ensure project success through strong communication and technical leadership.

The role includes configuring devices, commissioning systems, and delivering basic customer training. As a field role, you will mentor junior installers, collaborate with project managers, and maintain high standards for quality and safety across diverse

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Experience with electrical wiring (high/low voltage).
• Basics of telecom: TCP/IP, networking, VoIP.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Valid US Driver’s license.
• Experience with fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level I installer duties and elevate as needed.
• Lead small installation teams with task delegation.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery Coordinators and customers.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and collect feedback for improvement.
• Execute FAT testing and system commissioning.
• Maintain clear, timely communication on projects.
