K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support customers in the West Chester, Ohio area. This role builds on Level I duties with leadership, advanced configuration, and hands-on installation oversight.

Responsibilities include configuring devices, supervising teams, FAT testing, system commissioning, and customer training at a basic level. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction, strong electrical knowledge, networking basics, and IP addressing, plus a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Possesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing.
• Ability to identify and use common low voltage cabling.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience with service ticketing processes.
• Must have valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities per documentation.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and lead by example.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Lead installation teams and delegate tasks.
• Perform FAT testing of products before installation.
• Configure and program devices and management platforms.
• Oversee system commissioning and customer training at basic level.
• Ensure high standards of installation and service.
