Job summary

Xylem is seeking an Elite/Lead Field Service Technician to perform field service activities at customer sites, including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on complex systems. The role requires travel, leadership, and a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include leading teams, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with customers while ensuring high service standards. The position is hybrid with Seattle locations and offers a base pay range reflecting senior field roles.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required or higher
• Capable of obtaining CDL, class A or B with endorsements
• Preferred: technical military background, tech cert or related license(s)
• 5–7 years of technical work experience are preferred
• Willingness to travel 20%–80% depending on division/location
• Ability to obtain customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) and a DOT Medical card

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, diesel systems and complex equipment
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and preventative maintenance
• Escalate issues using appropriate company resources
• Lead/coach/guide junior technicians as needed
• Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork to achieve objectives
