Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Field Service Technician, AMS to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment. This role requires hands-on technical skill, safety consciousness, and a commitment to quality in field service.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure reliable operation, diagnose using diagnostic tools, and complete reports per procedures. A high school diploma and 3+ years of compressor experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities consistent with Kodiak procedures, goals, and objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor system failures at all levels.
• Optimize compressor equipment performance.
• Complete reports per operating procedures.
• Analyze parts and inventory; coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure parts availability.
• Prioritize repairs amid competing demands.
• Assess repair/replacement needs and select best solution.
• Inspect and maintain units to ensure health.
