Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician AMS to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment. You'll work with external customers and internal teams to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have 3+ years' compressor maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and technical training. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and reading schematics is important, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of compressor maintenance or related industry experience.
• Experience with Caterpillar G3600/G3500 Natural Gas Engine preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform repair activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and conduct major equipment overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Diagnose compressor system failures and optimize performance.
• Complete reports per procedures.
• Communicate parts availability with Supply Chain.
• Prioritize repair work when demand competes.
• Assess repair/replacement needs and identify best solution.
• Inspect and maintain units to ensure health.
