Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Field Service Technician, AMS to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment. The role requires technical expertise, attention to safety, and a commitment to quality.

You will work closely with external customers and internal teams to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. The position involves hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and reporting, with potential overtime and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of compressor maintenance or related industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform the job activities per Kodiak’s procedures and objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of compressor system failures.
• Optimize compression equipment performance.
• Complete the proper reports per operating procedures.
