Job summary

Rivian seeks an experienced Sr. Field Service Technician in Ohio to deliver exceptional customer service and technical leadership at service locations.

You will work with Service, Vehicle, and Delivery Operations, and Field Service Engineer teams to diagnose, repair, and validate vehicles, including remote services and on-site support as needed. You will lead by example, coaching other technicians, improving processes, and ensuring safety and quality in every repair.

Qualifications

• HV & LV diagnostic experience preferred.
• Experience in continuous improvement processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow Rivian repair procedures with efficiency while maintaining quality and safety.
• Evaluate and perform remote repairs when possible.
• Diagnose issues using schematics and diagrams.
• Provide diagnostic support to Field Service Teams and coordinate with internal partners.
• Perform vehicle repairs outside of a service center when required.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, and inventory to ensure availability.
• Document service activities in Service Support and Engineering systems.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
• Support campaigns and containment initiatives.
• Train and empower agents for live diagnostics.
