Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to ensure exceptional customer experiences at service locations. You will diagnose, repair, and install Rivian vehicles, with remote repair options and strong cross-functional coordination.

The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive, customer-first mindset in dynamic environments. Travel to various sites, including production plants, and mentor other technicians while maintaining meticulous documentation and ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; automotive repair training preferred.
• HV and LV diagnostic experience required.
• 8+ years on high voltage vehicle systems; leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install Rivian vehicles following procedures.
• Perform remote repairs when possible and safe.
• Diagnose using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Provide diagnostic support to Field Service Teams and customers.
• Lead and mentor technicians as assigned.
• Travel to locations including production plants as needed.
• Create high-quality documentation in service and engineering systems.
