Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical leader in delivering complex vehicle repairs and field support. The role blends service center work with remote travel to remote locations and production plants as needed.

You will mentor junior team members, drive continuous improvement, and apply advanced diagnostics using specialized tools to resolve high‑voltage and network faults, while ensuring quality and documentation.”

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• 5–8+ years automotive repair; bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• HV experience 3–8+ years; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and at field sites.
• Provide remote diagnostics and guidance using vehicle data and schematics.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians; drive process improvements.
• Lead parts operations, inventory, and billing to ensure efficiency.
• Document repairs and provide root-cause analyses to engineering.
