Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a fully proficient Senior Field Technician to lead compressor packages, gas processes, and rentals. You will mentor teammates, support maintenance planning, and ensure reliability while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requires deep knowledge of compression equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work 24/7, including overtime and on-call rotations. Industrial field environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus minimum 3 years in an intermediate Field Technician role.
• Deep knowledge of gas processes and compressor packages.
• Certifications in Cat, Waukesha, and Ariel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and ensure 98%+ mechanical availability.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to field technicians.
• Maintain safe operations and participate in HSE activities.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and respond to on-call rotations.
