Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician III to support maintenance and repair of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at a Desert Center, CA facility. You will diagnose electrical/control issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of energy storage equipment on site.

The role requires 4+ years in electrical/renewable energy settings, reading schematics, and knowledge of SCADA.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years in electrical/renewable energy/industrial ops.
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting, inspection, testing.
Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR certifications or ability to obtain.
Willingness to travel up to three weeks.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on BESS equipment and associated systems.
Diagnose electrical and control system issues and perform repairs.
Inspect, test, and certify HV equipment, inverters, SCADA, and related machinery.
Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Maintain accurate work orders, service reports, and inventory records.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, customers, and service vendors.
