Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician III to join our Energy Systems team in the Dallas area. You will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot complex battery and power systems on-site for customers, ensuring maximum uptime and safety.

You will mentor junior techs, lead small projects, and document activities while complying with OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO standards. A technical degree and strong communication skills are required; willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology.
• Three or more years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician in battery and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level on-site technical support including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues using advanced tools and schematics.
• Lead small field service projects and coordinate with teams and vendors.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and document service activities.
• Ensure safety, compliance with OSHA/DOT/ISO standards during all activities.
