Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States seeks a Field Service Representative to service power distribution and critical power infrastructure at customer sites. This site-based role includes an 8-week paid training period in Dallas, TX, and opportunities for local and occasional travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electrical-related disciplines or training.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power principles and components.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS systems and related equipment.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Adheres to safety procedures (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT) and safety trainings.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Safe driving and vehicle operation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and support teams to solve problems.
• Complete field service reports and expense reports and startup data sheets.
• Coordinate with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Engage in ongoing training and learn across products in the field and classroom.
