Rivian Automotive seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader in complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role involves mentoring junior staff, driving improvements, and delivering high-quality diagnostics in service centers, remote locations, or production plants as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• 3 to 8+ years of hands-on experience with High Voltage (HV) systems and HV diagnostics.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles (e.g., Shop Foreman, Team Lead).
• Demonstrated background in continuous improvement, process standardization, and escalation management.

Responsabilités

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers and in field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians; lead shop-floor technical problem-solving.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to resolve complex HV and network faults.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and drive process improvements.
• Oversee complex parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
• Produce documentation and provide root-cause analysis to leadership.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams during escalations.
