Preferred certifications include Network+, Security+, MCSE or CISSP; you may travel up to 75-80% and must qualify for U.S. security clearances.

Qualifications

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Knowledge in networking, Cyber Security principles, Active Directory Administration, and LMR.
• Advanced knowledge of ASTRO core apps: UNC, PM, UEM, ESXi, IMW, KMF, HBSS, PKI.
• Ability to lift equipment ~50 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong self-management and people skills to coordinate with customers and teams.
• Provide technical support for complex systems and RF/broadband architectures.
• Maintain and document complex communications systems; produce weekly activity reports.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, network installation, cabling, routers, switches, firewalls.
• Capable of maintaining server hardware/OS and related issues.
• Understanding of IP networks; able to troubleshoot in a technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills; detail-oriented; able to work remotely with travel.
• Must obtain DOD secret clearance within 18 months; complete SF86 and fingerprinting.
• Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within 12 months.
• Ability to obtain/hold U.S. Passport and travel up to 75-80%.
• Residence within 60 miles of a major International Airport.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Troubleshoot IT-type environments and networked systems.
• Administer and maintain core applications and security tooling.
• Document configurations and performance; deliver weekly reports.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and support teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 75-80% as needed.
