Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, high voltage systems, and hands-on leadership across service centers and remote sites.

You will mentor junior team members, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with field service engineers to deliver high-quality repair outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years working on High Voltage (HV) systems and diagnostics.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and on-site.
• Provide technical support and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve HV and network faults.
• Oversee parts operations and inventory management.
• Document issues and provide feedback to engineering.
