Job summary

Anduril Industries is expanding its Planning team for a Senior Field Service Materials Planner. You will own Field Service & MRO inventory planning, signaling Purchasing and Maintenance on what to acquire, store, or deploy across deployed assets.

The role requires shaping demand signals, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and reducing stockouts while controlling costs within ERP environments and a defense context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 6+ years in supply chain planning, inventory or MRO in manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or technical environments.
• Proven ability to solve complex operational challenges quickly.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and Salesforce CRM.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and ability to obtain US Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and optimize Field Service & MRO inventory and spare parts.
• Collaborate with Field Service, Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability Engineering to forecast demand.
• Develop critical spares lists for hazard deployments and stocking strategies.
• Design min/max, safety stock, and reorder points for intermittent demand.
• Monitor usage, analyze failure rates, and drive improvements in material planning.
• Identify at-risk materials and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Coordinate across Maintenance, Operations, Deployment, and Procurement for material flow.
• Ensure inventory planning aligns with O&S contract requirements.
• Right-size inventory to reduce excess and stockouts.
