Job summary

ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment (EAE) is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to lead complex field service operations across customer sites. This senior role combines advanced technical expertise with team leadership to ensure installation, maintenance, and repair of capital equipment, while mentoring junior engineers and driving service excellence.

Travel is frequent (up to 80%), and you will engage with key accounts, train end users, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree preferred; 7 years mechanical, electromechanical equipment repair experience in the Surface Mount Technology industry sufficient in lieu of degree.
• 7 - 10 years of related experience for FSE III.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior Field Service Engineers.
• Lead installation and configuration of advanced equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and customer specifications.
• Plan, schedule, and execute field service projects.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and equipment records.
