Job summary

ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment Division seeks a Field Service Engineer III to lead complex field service operations and mentor junior engineers. The role combines advanced technical work with team leadership to ensure installation, maintenance, and repair of capital equipment at customer sites.

The FSE III drives service excellence, improves processes, and delivers high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related Field Service experience.
• AA/AS Degree preferred; 7 years of SMT equipment repair acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of junior FSEs.
• Customer-facing communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues as the technical expert.
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers and assist with onboarding.
• Lead installation, configuration, maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and on-site training.
• Plan field service projects and manage resources and timelines.
