Job summary

Lam Research in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot down to the component level, travel domestically and internationally as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field, strong schematic skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, or repair of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Ability to read diagrams and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work in cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and isolate issues to component level to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records and coordinate activities between Lam and customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical instruction.
• Keep up-to-date on Lam products and semiconductor capital equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction as a Lam representative.
