Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer for on-site support in Manassas, VA. You will perform on-site repair, maintenance and installation of Lam’s sophisticated semiconductor equipment, analyze and diagnose issues, and coordinate field activities with customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electronics/Engineering with extensive experience, ability to travel, and strong problem-solving and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering or related field; 8+ years experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance and install/start-up services at customer sites.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across Lam products to minimize downtime.
• Perform field modifications and updates, maintaining records to coordinate activities with Lam and customers.
• Lead customer meetings, mentor junior engineers, and communicate clearly to customers.
