Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Field Service Engineer to install, commission and support drive, power and automation systems at customer sites, including offshore vessels. You will lead on-site projects, troubleshoot remotely, and identify service opportunities to grow the North American business.

Travel up to 85% is required, including offshore deployments; you must hold relevant electrical engineering qualifications, be able to obtain security clearance, and pass HUET if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Associate's Degree or related discipline with a minimum 5 additional years of related industry experience.
• School diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission drive systems, power systems, automation systems or dynamic positioning systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot on-site during port visits or at sea; diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop documentation for commissioning and maintenance procedures; perform customer training.
