Job summary

EquipNet seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to support SCIEX and Waters mass spectrometry systems, including TOF, across the Cerritos region.

You will deliver on-site and remote service, perform IQ/OQ/PQ, calibrations, maintenance, and training for biotech, pharma, chemical, and environmental labs. Applicants should have 5+ years in field service, be local to Cerritos, hold a relevant degree, and be able to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field service servicing SCIEX and Waters mass spectrometry systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for LC-MS and GC-MS with emphasis on SCIEX and Waters systems.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues across mass spec platforms.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and calibrations per manufacturer specs.
• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ installation and validation of new systems.
• Optimize performance via tuning and method troubleshooting.
• Train lab staff on operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Maintain service logs and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Represent EquipNet’s expertise to clients in the region.
