Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair mass spectrometers and related instrumentation across the greater Kansas City area. You will work remotely, install, service, and train customers, and collaborate with a District Service Manager.

The role requires LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience, travel up to 50% and a valid driver’s license. A degree in Life Sciences or Engineering is preferred, with strong problem-solving skills and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instruments.
• Provide qualifications services and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administrative duties (log service activities, expenses, inventory, etc.).
