Job summary

ASML USA in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Yieldstar to service lithography and metrology machines at customer sites, including installation, upgrades, diagnostics, and maintenance.

You will diagnose root causes, execute action plans, interface with customers, and uphold safety while traveling up to 10% for training and cross-site support. Strong MS Office skills and a customer-focused mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, or semiconductor processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel VBA.
• Customer-focused mindset from a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify root cause and define the action plan for solution.
• Execute action plans independently and handle most technical problems on his/her own.
• Escalate when needed by providing clear problem statements and technical communication.
• Interface regularly with internal and external customers on planning and action progress.
• Adhere to safety requirements including pre-work safety assessments and wearing PPE.
