Job summary

ASML in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Service Engineer for YieldStar metrology systems. You will install, qualify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ASML metrology equipment at the customer site, collaborating with customer engineers, line managers, and ASML teams to ensure tool availability and performance.

You will work with a team of yieldstar engineers, travel to other US locations as needed, and report to the local Applications Manager within US CS Applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a customer-support role for high-tech products.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with ASML lithography/metrology systems or similar tech.
• Strong written and verbal English communications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root causes and define action plans for solutions.
• Execute plans independently and resolve most technical problems.
• Escalate with clear problem statements and technical communication.
• Interface with internal and external customers on planning and progress.
• Adhere to safety requirements and PPE protocols.
• Drive on-site tool qualification, wafer introduction, and sustaining activities.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to ensure tool performance and customer commitments.
