Job summary

Plasma-Therm is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer IV to lead installation, startup, and advanced troubleshooting for Wet Etch/Chemical and Plasma-Therm dry platforms in the Phoenix area. The role requires broad technical expertise in chemical delivery, vacuum systems, and robotics, along with strong customer-facing leadership.

Responsibilities include on-site tool deployments, OEM training coordination in Taiwan, and driving 8D reports while ensuring strict safety, cleanroom, and LOTO

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Semiconductor Technology.
8+ years in field service or equipment engineering for semiconductor capital equipment or advanced wafer fabs.
Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills for on-site customer support.

Responsibilities

Lead tool installation, startup, and commissioning at Phoenix site.
Coordinate overseas OEM training and device bring-up in Taiwan.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wet and dry processing platforms.
Manage customer communications and escalations; ensure safety and cleanroom protocols.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to SOP/training material.
