Job summary

Plasma-Therm, LLC designs and builds configurable wafer processing platforms for microelectronics manufacturing, including etch, deposition and rapid thermal processing. The role provides advanced maintenance, repairs, and training on assigned equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction, timeliness, accuracy, and safety.

The candidate will independently repair, install and upgrade systems, conduct Level 1–2 trainings at customer sites, and mentor junior FSEs.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years’ experience on semiconductor equipment.
• At least 5 years in Vacuum, RF, and Electrical domains.
• Understanding of Etch and CVD processes; Process Parametric knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, business travel card, and passport.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, installations, and on-site support for 5 Plasma-Therm product lines.
• Capable of Level 1 and 2 training at customer facilities on Versa line ICP Etchers.
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures; order and replace parts as needed.
• Capable of helium leak testing with a Helium Leak Detector and/or Resistive Gas Analyzer.
• Mentor junior FSEs and supervise others; produce timely daily/weekly reports.
