Job summary
Plasma-Therm LLC seeks a senior engineer to lead advanced plasma etch and deposition process development for diverse materials and applications. You will design, test, and optimize processes, propose equipment modifications, and communicate results to customers and internal teams.
You will collaborate across disciplines, prepare technical reports and presentations, and support field service and customer engagements while upholding safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Sci, Physics or Chemistry with 5+ years in advanced plasma process development.
- Master’s Degree with 3+ years in advanced plasma process development.
- Minimum three years of experience with semiconductor processing.
Responsibilities
- Plan detailed projects aligned with equipment capability and timelines.
- Design, perform and analyze plasma processes; assist in equipment modifications.
- Prepare technical reports detailing laboratory results for customers or Plasma-Therm.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams as a senior engineer and contribute to technical publications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on product lines in field and at customer sites.
