Job summary

Oxford Instruments GmbH seeks a Field Service Engineer to support High Volume Manufacturing. The role focuses on remote Texas-based customers, supplying installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and on-site training to maximize uptime.

You will troubleshoot RF/vacuum systems, calibrate APCs/MFCs, mentor junior engineers, and lead tool installations with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of field service experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with plasma etch and deposition systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and commissioning of plasma etch and deposition systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with precise diagnostics.
• Provide customer training and operational partnership to maximize uptime.
• Lead root cause investigations and mentor junior engineers.
• Support tool installations and production ramp activities.
