Job summary

Lam Research Corporation seeks senior field service engineers (FSE4/FSE5) to lead complex troubleshooting and technical recovery for semiconductor equipment. You will act as Engineer in Charge, define executable plans, and ensure safe, high-quality execution across installations, upgrades, and recoveries.

You will mentor peers, develop MBPS artifacts, and communicate effectively with technicians, managers, customers, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of relevant semiconductor equipment service, installation, escalation, or product-support experience for FSE4.
• 10+ years with demonstrated technical-manager-level leadership and product-line impact for FSE5.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer in Charge (EIC) or senior technical owner for assignments with clear accountability for outcomes.
• Develop executable game plans with work sequence, resources, and success criteria.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, MBPS artifacts, risk assessments, and escalation packages.
• Train and mentor new hires and developing FSEs through OJT and certification support.
