Responsibilities
  • Learn the full line of Research & Learning products, including features, benefits, pricing, and value propositions, through training and self-study.
  • Execute the sales process effectively by staying informed of sales strategies and procedures.
  • Manage assigned accounts, build sales pipelines, and maintain CRM data accuracy.
  • Develop new business by prospecting, conducting meetings, and participating in industry events.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to meet sales targets.
  • Contribute to product development by identifying client needs and working with product teams.
  • Increase market share by engaging with client decision-makers and identifying business issues.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and resolve account conflicts professionally.
  • Develop and update an annual business plan and provide regular sales reports.
  • Engage in weekly communication with the manager.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales, with experience in developing prospect lists, achieving quotas, and using CRM tools like Salesforce.

Preferred Experience: 5+ years in SaaS or software sales, industry-specific experience, and a successful sales track record.

Skills: Independent working ability, strong communication, detail orientation, and flexibility to work overtime and travel up to 10%.

Additional Details

Salary range varies by location, e.g., CA, CT, CO, etc.: $76,350 - $105,700. Role is eligible for commissions. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), tuition assistance, paid leave, and more. Wolters Kluwer is an equal opportunity employer.
