Job summary

ACV Auctions in San Diego seeks a Sr. Sales Executive to grow market share by engaging dealers and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You will build lasting relationships in person and drive new business across the territory.

You will travel within the area, perform live demos, and collaborate with Territory Managers to achieve aggressive revenue targets while leveraging Salesforce to manage the pipeline and activity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Track record closing deals with C-level decision makers.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred).
• Strong analytic mindset for data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel within the geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list of new franchises and rooftops within the territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach through in-person visits, calls, and events to develop relationships with decision makers.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities and decision makers.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand client workflows and relationships.
• Position ACV's products against dealer channels with data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV product lines to offer full-service solutions.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements and pricing structures.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Update Salesforce daily for pipeline management and reporting.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
