Job summary

TalentSphere seeks a Senior Safety Specialist for a field-based role on a major commercial construction project in Abilene, Texas. You will work directly with crews, project leadership and safety teams to uphold day-to-day safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a strong OSHA background, bilingual English/Spanish, and a track record of leading safety initiatives on construction sites. This is a full-time position with overtime and a multi-project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years construction safety experience.
• Fluent bilingual English/Spanish in reading, writing, and training.
• OSHA knowledge and safety certifications required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily jobsite safety audits and inspections.
• Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks; train employees.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and prepare for inspections.
• Complete Job Hazard Analyses and identify risks.
• Respond to and document incidents; coach field employees.
