Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety across active Texas construction projects, including commercial, civil infrastructure, and utilities works. You will develop and implement project-specific safety plans, conduct regular site inspections, lead JHAs, toolbox talks, and training, and monitor subcontractor safety performance.

The role emphasizes proactive safety culture and compliance with OSHA standards to deliver safe projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of construction safety experience.
Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
Experience with jobsite inspections, JHAs, incident investigations and safety training.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the confidence to work directly with field teams.
A practical, hands-on approach to construction safety.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing project-specific safety plans and procedures.
Conducting regular jobsite inspections, audits and hazard assessments.
Leading JHAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks and safety orientations.
Providing safety training and guidance to employees and subcontractors.
Monitoring subcontractor safety performance and project compliance.
Investigating incidents, near misses and property damage and implementing corrective actions.
Maintaining safety records, training documentation and OSHA compliance.
Working with project teams to identify hazards and implement practical solutions.
Promoting a proactive safety culture and addressing unsafe conditions or practices.
