Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction safety experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Experience conducting job site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crews, leadership, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with crews, supervisors and management to promote safe work practices and compliance.
• Implement and enforce OSHA regulations, site safety plans, and applicable standards.
• Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and project safety orientations.
• Identify risks in heavy civil construction, roadway operations, and equipment usage.
• Document safety observations, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Review training records and required documentation.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support development of Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure safety requirements are met.
