Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to minimize barriers to patient access for our rare disease portfolio. You will serve as the local expert on reimbursement, coding, and patient support programs, educating offices, billing staff, and coordinators to ensure timely therapy access.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, develop territory plans, and maintain accurate documentation while traveling as needed to coordinate with key partners on education and case work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-7 years experience in healthcare/pharma/biotech.
• 3+ years in buy-and-bill or specialty pharmacy networks.
• 3+ years field reimbursement experience.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacy benefit design, Rx to infusion.
• Experience with prior authorization and related billing/coding.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams on territory planning and payer policy.
• Serve as subject matter expert on reimbursement and access landscape.
• Develop and execute strategic account/territory plans.
• Collaborate with OneSource Patient Services for case management.
• Document field insights on payer policy shifts and access barriers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners and attend internal meetings.
• Maintain accurate CRM and reporting of activities.
