Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to educate HCP offices on reimbursement, billing, and patient support programs across Rare Neurology, Hematology, and Nephrology indications. You will be the local subject matter expert on payer policy, prior authorization, denials, and appeals to ensure timely patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5-7 years experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• 3+ years experience working with buy and bill and/or specialty pharmacy networks
• 3+ years of field reimbursement experience
• Understanding of access process from medical and pharmacy benefit design, Rx to infusion/injection
• Experience with products that require prior authorization and related billing/coding
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing direction and ownership
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to educate physicians and healthcare professionals
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and planning
• Problem solving with urgency
• Experience with billing and medical claim personnel in healthcare settings
• Experience with integrated health systems
• Technical aptitude with iPad, laptop and MS Office; willingness to travel
• Duties require travel and field environment compliance

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional partners on territory planning and strategy.
• Serve as subject matter expert on reimbursement and access landscapes.
• Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans.
• Collaborate with OneSource Patient Services on case management needs.
• Identify and communicate payer policy shifts and access barriers.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional partners and attend relevant meetings.
• Maintain documentation and reporting in CRM and approved systems.
• Comply with laws, regulations and ethics standards.
