Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager (Rare Neurology, Hematology, & Nephrology) to minimize barriers to patient access for our rare disease portfolio. You will educate HCP offices, billing staff, and coordinators on payer policy and coverage criteria to ensure timely therapy access.

The role requires field-based travel, strong collaboration with regional teams, and expertise in prior authorization, billing, and access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in healthcare/pharma/biotech.
• 3+ years in buy-and-bill or specialty pharmacy networks.
• Experience with prior authorization and billing/coding.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field reimbursement expert for reimbursement and patient access.
• Educate HCP offices, billing staff, and coordinators on payer policies.
• Develop territory plans to drive access and reduce barriers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share payer insights.
• Maintain documentation in CRM and reporting systems.
• Travel as required to support education and case work.
