Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to navigate payer policies and enhance patient access for its Rare Neurology, Hematology, & Nephrology portfolio. You will educate HCP offices, billing staff, and financial coordinators, acting as the payer policy expert and driving access strategies across the territory.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years in healthcare with 3+ years in field reimbursement; heavy travel within Oregon, Nevada, and Utah is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 5–7 years in healthcare/pharma/biotech
• 3+ years in buy-and-bill or specialty pharmacy networks
• 3+ years of field reimbursement experience
• Understanding of medical and pharmacy benefit design, Rx to infusion/injection
• Experience with prior authorizations and related billing/coding in-office support
• Strong communication, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Serve as local reimbursement expert on payer policy and access landscape
• Educate HCP offices, billing staff, and financial coordinators to minimize access barriers
• Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans for payer knowledge
• Document activities in CRM and other approved systems; coordinate with cross-functional partners
