Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector for our Louisville, KY project. The role requires delivering surveillance reports, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and providing technical expertise to the client on engineering standards, codes, and design instructions.

The candidate must be a US citizen, pass a federal background review and drug screen, and have a minimum of a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant construction inspection experience on large

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in construction-related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of federal construction inspection/contract administration experience.
• Experience with vertical/hospital construction and relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provides technical expertise to client to ensure project compliance with engineering standards and codes.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress and safety notes.
• Observes construction phases for compliance with schedules and shop drawings; identifies issues.
• Prepares complete engineering plans or reports; assists in contract modifications.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions and safety programs.
• Monitors progress and informs project team of potential delays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
