Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide world-class support for Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products. You will act as a subject matter expert across platforms and collaborate with Product Development and NPI teams to prepare new products for field deployment.

You will develop training materials, train field service engineers globally, and deliver timely, accurate support for customer issues while driving improvements in service delivery and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
• 8–15 years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in Power, Embedded, and Networking domains.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated, hands-on team player who can work independently.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with serviceability concepts.
• Experience with Design for Serviceability and Reliability.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Local to North Reading, MA; relocation not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class support for Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across new and existing platforms.
• Engage with Product Development and NPI teams to prepare new products for field deployment.
• Develop training materials and conduct training for field service engineers worldwide.
• Provide timely and accurate support to field organizations for customer issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer support delivery.
• Develop and update service documentation for field installations and preventive maintenance.
• Analyze trends to improve system reliability.
